Why therapy?
Therapy offers you a regular space to talk openly and without judgement. You don’t need to know exactly what is wrong, or have the words for it, before you begin. Often, that is part of what we discover together.
People come for many reasons, such as difficulties in relationships, persistent anxiety or low mood, or a sense of not being fully themselves.
Along the way, we may begin to see how earlier experiences continue to shape how you feel about yourself, your relationships and your life now. As these connections become clearer, you may find yourself less limited by your history. This can be freeing, bringing relief and a different relationship with yourself and others.
About Me
I’m a UK‑qualified counsellor (BACP registered, No. 422269) and a doctoral candidate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy with the University of Exeter, the British Psychotherapy Foundation and the British Psychoanalytic Council. Based in Florence, I work in person with English‑speaking adults aged 18 and over, and offer online sessions where appropriate.
My clinical work is regularly supervised by Michael Brearley, Manuel Batsch and Daniel Pick. Alongside my private practice, I provide counselling in collaboration with James Madison University and Charles Cecil Studios.
How Sessions Work
Our initial meetings offer a space to explore your situation and clarify what you are seeking. They also give us both the opportunity to consider whether I am the right therapist to support you.
Fees
Sessions cost €80 (50 minutes), with a sliding scale and two reduced‑fee places available. Some insurance plans accepted; please ask for details.
